Bless Me.

He broke me. He broke me into a thousand tiny pieces.
He breathed in my direction and the pieces scattered like leaves in the wind.
He betrayed me. My trust, my love, my self.
He looked at me like daggers and ice, and he looked at me like lust.
He loved me, like a daughter, like a friend, like a child.
He laughed at me, in this silent loathing way like he was innocent.
He emptied me. He emptied me like a cup of something sour.
He entered me, entered me in anger and in spite of all my fears.
He eluded me. He ran from his own actions, and left me here in tears.
He shunned me, like a broken doll he hated and couldn't bear to see.
He smiled at me. He smiled like I was young and he was still a friend.
He stunned me. In all my mind I never thought this monster would be him.
He slaughtered me, left me lifeless and alone.
He slapped me. An invisible blow that left me bruised and hurting.
He sexually abused me. A pain I never wished to know.
