Q: Who was the first person that you told?

A: Estele, the father.
B: My best friend
C: My son's father.
D: My boyfriend, who is now my husband.

Q: What choice did you make (adoption, abortion, or did you keep it)?

A: Well, I believe if I was having sex I have to pay for the consequences.
B: Kept the baby
C: Keep him.
D: I chose to keep my baby. I explored all of my options including
abortion, keeping the baby, closed adoption and open adoption. And
after a lot of thinking and research, I decided that the best thing for me
    was to keep the baby.

Q: What were the hardest issues or events that you faced?

A: Having to tell my mom. Or finding out about complications
B: Having to deal with people's stereotypes of teen moms, and just the
way some ignorant people treat me in general

C: Telling my parents, finishing school, supporting my child, keeping a
good relationship with my son's father.

D: The hardest thing for me was seeing the look of utter disappointment
on my mother's face. She's my best friend and she means the world to
me. So seeing that look on her face almost killed me. It was hard to
deal with the fact that I had hurt someone I loved so much.

Q: What were the easiest?

A: Getting to see the ultrasounds and having Estele excited.
B: Keeping her
C: Knowing I was doing the right thing.
D: To tell you the honest to God truth, nothing about becoming a teen
mother is easy. Everything is a big decision, especially for someone
who was 16 years old at the time. Everything from deciding to keep the
baby, to deciding what type of formula to use was a big issue.

Q: Do you have any regrets on the decisions that you have made? If so,
     what would you change?

A: I have no regrets yet.
B: I wouldn't have stayed with her sperm donor (referring to the father of
the child) as long as I did, and that's my only regret

C: I would have waited to have sex. I love my son to pieces but I had to
make a lot of sacrifices to be the best possible parent I could.

D: I don't regret keeping my baby. He means more to me than anything in
this world. He really is the love of my life. If I could change anything
though, I would've waited to have him.
