Rob was the one that told her to go to Metropolis (the rave) and he suggested that she should drop because it's nothing without E.

Carole's best friend, Emilia, told her that she shouldn't go raving or drop. They got in an argument a week before the rave. During that week they didn't speak. Emilia was only telling Carole not to go raving because you never know what could happen and not to drop because it's very dangerous and risky. So basically, Emilia worried that something would happen to Carole. As for Carole, this was what she wanted to do and no one could tell her otherwise. It was her life and her decision.

The night had come and Carole was ready to go. When they got there, it was so crowded and hot. Carole had dropped once she got there and 2 hours later she was up and dancing and couldn't stop. Next thing you know, she fell on the floor, still dancing. Rob had helped her up. An hour later, Rob and Carole were separated. Carole met so many people, but there was this one guy that came out of nowhere and started dancing with her. About an hour later, she fell to the ground again. The guy helped her up and brought her somewhere.

Carole opened her eyes, she had a very bad headache and was very confused. She was in a bed, half naked.
